Philip B. Noack, M.A.- President/Owner

Phil Noack is the president and owner of A.R.M.S., Inc. He obtained his A.A.S. & B.S. degrees in Nuclear Medicine Technology from Ferris State University, M.A. degree in Management from Nazareth College. Phil is a board certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiological Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, and American Society of Clinical Pathologists. Phil worked in Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology in both private clinical settings and hospital based departments for 20 years. Phil was also Radiation Safety Officer at Western Michigan University for a few years. Phil started A.R.M.S., Inc. in 1986 with one of the first primary radon testing laboratories in the Midwest by being listed with the USEPA through "Rounds" of testing until Stakeholders chose the National Environmental Health Association(NEHA) to become the first certifying organization for primary laboratories. Phil obtained his Residential Builders License and further certification to become a radon contractor originally through the State of Michigan and USEPA, respectively, and subsequent Radon Contractor Certification through NEHA's National Radon Proficiency Program and the National Radon Safety Board. General contracting in residential and commerical applications with Radon-Resistant New Construction(RRNC) is another specialty at ARMS, Inc. Apartment buildings, federal government buildings, and residential homes in some locations of the EPA's Zone 1 Radon mapped counties require RRNC. Phil is involved with the coordination of architectural approval of these systems between owners, builders and/or building inspectors. Phil also builds custom homes, remodeling, installs additions, and would be glad to work with you on any design that suits your needs.
